Felipe and Georgia, accompanied by Councilman Jairo Tamura, Dr. Gilberto Otta and Marcus Nunes, paid a visit to Londrina's City Hall.
In a meeting with Londrina's Mayor , Marcelo Belinati, they presented the We Care Platform and all the solidary events and donations they made in June and July.
In addition to having City Hall's full support, the two young students were praised by Marcelo Belinati.

Today, the governor of Paraná, Ratinho Junior, enacted more restrictive measures to combat the coronavirus. Non-essential activities will be suspended in seven regions of the state, such as: Londrina, Curitiba and region, Cornélio Procópio, Cianorte, Toledo, Cascavel and Foz do Iguaçu.
Starting tomorrow (01), street shops , gyms and clubs, shopping malls and shopping arcades, convenience stores, gas stations, bars and nightclubs, barber shops, beauty clinics and beauty salons will be completely suspended .
Markets will open from Monday to Saturday, from 7 am to 9 pm, maximum flow of 30% of the total capacity and only one person per family (over 12 years old) will be allowed.
All of these measures were taken due to the increase in the number of deaths and cases in the last 24 hours. Paraná registered 36 new deaths and 1,536 new cases due to Covid-19.

Economy Minister, Paulo Guedes, has announced the extension of emergency assistance for another two months, aimed at informal workers and beneficiaries of Bolsa Família. The government will pay a total of R$ 1,200 divided into four installments of 500, 100, 300 and 300 reais. According to the Ministry of Economy, each installment of the aid costs approximately R $ 50 billion per month and the program has already benefited 60 million people.

Covid-19 testing
Last Tuesday, Felipe and Georgia went to SESI to do the immunochromatographic test for the coronavirus. The results of the two adolescents indicated that they do not have the antibodies against Covid in the blood sample analyzed (absence of infection).

So far, the new coronavirus pandemic has killed 468,724 people worldwide, according to a survey by Johns Hopkins University this Monday. The most affected countries are the United States (119,977 dead), Brazil (50,951), the United Kingdom (42,717), Italy (34,634) and France (29,643). Brazil has more than one million cases of Covid-19 and the Americas are the current epicenter of the pandemic, with 20,000 deaths in Mexico, more than 8,000 in Peru and more than 1,000 in Argentina.

The State Health Secretary reported that the state of Paraná registered 529 new cases of Covid-19 and 22 new deaths. The total number of cases is 11,085 and 386 deaths due to the disease.

The City of Londrina announced that the city has already 893 confirmed cases of COVID-19, of which 577 are cured, and 51 deaths. Faced with this sudden increase, the mayor of Londrina, Marcelo Belinati, confirmed that the municipality will adopt more severe measures to combat the transmission of the virus. The new decree should establish fines of R$ 10,000 to R$ 120,000 for residents who cause any type of agglomeration.

According to the City Hall of Londrina this Monday (15), another 60 cases of the disease were confirmed, accumulating 855 positive cases of coronavirus in Londrina. And of that total, 550 have already recovered and been discharged.
Also in the last 24 hours, five deaths of patients with COVID-19 occurred. One patient, female, was 36 years old; the others, male, died at 30, 77, 85 and 86 years of age. Thus, the city reaches 50 deaths caused by the coronavirus.

Today, Londrina confirms two more deaths from Covid-19 and the number of deaths reaches 37. The city has 735 confirmed cases. One of the deaths was a 70-year-old man with comorbidities. The other was a 73-year-old woman who had Alzheimer's and epilepsy.
